Beeswax wraps are a sustainable, plastic-free alternative to covering, keeping fresh, packaging and freezing food. The warmth of the hands makes the cotton cloth supple and adapts to the respective form of food and vessels to be covered.
Each cloth is handmade in Germany / Bavaria.
The fabric made of 100% cotton is soaked with a mixture of beeswax, resin and jojoba oil.
The beeswax and tree resin provide an antibacterial effect, the cloths are air and moisture resistant, but breathable.
The cloths can be reused for up to 1 year. After that, they are biodegradable or can be used as a lighting aid.
It is therefore a ZeroWaste product, from manufacture to use to disposal. A real, environmentally friendly alternative to plastic packaging, freshening and aluminium foils.
Useage & Storage
Hand heat makes the cloth soft and flexible and thus adhere to smooth surfaces. The cloth can be stored:
In the refrigerator
In the freezer
In the storage cabinet or shelf
As a bread towel
NOT for storing raw meat and fish, as well as pineapple
Care
The cloths can be cleaned under cold to hand-warm water (max 40°C)
If necessary, an additional 1 drop of detergent can be used.
Then let the cloths dry at room temperature - do not place over the heating!
NOT suitable for microwave, dishwasher or washing machine!
Please do not cut on the cloths, the cloth and the coating may be injured
If wear and tear occurs after intensive use, the cloth can be easily and quickly prepared by itself. To do this, place the cloth between two baking paper and brush it over it with the iron. This melts the wax and distributes evenly in the fabric again.
